Jill Smith, O.D. has been an optometrist in the Kansas City area since 1995. A native of northeast Iowa, she completed her undergraduate work at the University of Northern Iowa and obtained her optometric degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry. After graduation, she was selected for a corneal and refractive surgery fellowship under the direction of Daniel Durrie, MD, Hunkeler Eye Institute, Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Smith continued her career at the Hunkeler Eye Institute for the next 12 years working in close association with John Hunkeler, MD. Her work involved pre and post-operative care of cataract and refractive surgery patients, comprehensive vision evaluations and contact lens fittings.

When not at the office, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and son, Luke.

Kelli received her Bachelors degree from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Regier completed externships focusing on Cataract and L.A.S.I.K. surgery comanagment at McDonald Eye Associates in Fayetteville, AR and in primary care optometry at Kenner Army Health Clinic in Fort Lee, VA.

Kelli enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan and their dog. They enjoy being outdoors, canoeing, spending time with nieces and following KU Basketball.

Jaron Smith, has been an Optician since 1995. A transplant from Portland, Oregon, he brings his love for the optical industry to the Midwest. His prior office he managed in Portland recieved Best Glasses Shop in 2008. He has also shared his passion for fashion and technology in the Atlanta, Georgia market, working in both high-end boutiques and large multi-unit operations. He is always on the watch for the newest trends in eyewear and helps keep our selection fresh and fun. He frequents fashion shows and trade shows from Vegas to New York City in search of the right products to delight our residents right here in the Kansas City area. Jaron is nationally certified by the American Board of Opticianry.

When not fitting you with the perfect pair of specs, Jaron enjoys spending time with his partner, Shane and their 3 golden retrievers and 2 crazy cats. They enjoy scary movies (even the really bad ones), eating out, getting outdoors, photography and travel.

Jaron manages the Kearney location for Precision Optics. He also is available at our Westport office on occassion. He is available M-Sat to assist you with all of your eyewear needs.

Beverly comes to us from Indiana and has 6 years of optical experience. Excellence in customer service is her passion and she has honed her skills in a variety of settings, including self-employment, the non-profit sector and the optical field. Her joy is assisting patients in choosing eye wear that they love and that will best accent their personal style and visual needs. She has a special interest in sun wear and sport frames and loves learning about the latest technology to give our patients superior vision. Beverly is nationally certified by the American Board of Opticianry.

When not searching out exciting new frames to add to our offerings, she enjoys spending time with her family, gourmet cooking, liturgical dance and fitness activities.

Beverly is Lead Optician for our Westport office. She is available M-F to assist you with all of your eyewear needs.
